View Tribute Book Gladys Eileen (Bales) Hodges, 93, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. Gladys was born in Waynesville, Missouri on February 22, 1929, to the late William Franklin and Martha Jane (York) Bales. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Robert “Bob” Hodges. Gladys enjoyed reading, word searches, shopping, and visiting with family and friends. Gladys was an outstanding mother who loved her children, grandchildren, and her late husband, Bob. A graveside service was held at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Petersburg, Indiana.
