Obituary Gerome Lorenzo Grant, 89, of Sandersville, Georgia died Wednesday evening (December 7, 2022) at Memorial Satilla health after an extended illness. Mr. Grant was born in Port Limon, Costa Rica to the late Teofilo Grant and Jenny Price and has been living in Sandersville the past several years. Previously he lived in New York before moving to Athens, Georgia. He was a self-employed carpenter that took great pride in his work, so exceptionally much of his work was that of an artist. He enjoyed dancing and was a true people person, giving advice for all areas of life. In his younger years he enjoyed playing softball and was always a great ping-pong player. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son, German Grant; numerous brothers and sisters. Mr. Grant is survived by three children, Delroy Grant of New York, Magaly Grant of Costa Rica, Kattia Grant-Reinoso of New York; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his wife, Clemencia Rojas of Costa Rica; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A graveside service will be held Friday (December 9, 2022) at 2:00pm at Oakland Cemetery in Waycross, Georgia.
