George Terrance “Terry” Lemming, 71 of Perrysville passed away Sunday evening, November 6, 2022 at Ohio Health, Mansfield, Ohio. He was born on January 24, 1951 in Mariemont, Ohio to the late George and Marilyn (nee Carle) Lemming. Terry was a 1969 graduate of Lexington High School and went on to attend The Ohio State University for two years. He was a hard worker all of his life. Terry first retired in 2005 from Rolls Royce in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Following his retirement, he went back to work for Ariel and was currently employed at the Luk Corporation. Terry married the former Nancy Jean Englert on October 13, 2022. He was a previous member of the Church of Latter-Day Saints and was currently attending mass at St. Stephens in West Salem, OH. Terry loved taking day trips to various places such as Amish Country. He spent many hours tinkering in his garage and doing woodworking. He also liked to cook and watch old time tv westerns and especially loved spending time with family and his grandchildren. Terry was a kind and caring man who strived to do whatever he could to help his family and friends. You had to be careful when taking him places because his fun side emerged and he would stand at the opposite side of a store, hold up some outlandish dress or another item of embarrassment and holler ” Nancy Lemming this would look good on you!” Terry, his humor and love of life will be missed.
