View Tribute Book Geohn Christopher Huggins, II “GG” May 26, 2012 – September 11, 2022 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that who over believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 KJV Geohn Christopher Huggins, II, affectionately known as “GG” lived a full, beautiful and impactful life for 10 dynamic years. GG was born in Muncie, Indiana to Geohn Huggins and Adrien Welches. A joy to his parents, his family and everyone he encountered. A lover of learning about ALL things, John 3:16 was the first scripture GG memorized and recited. GG began his traditional schooling in Muncie and concluded his schooling at Scarburough Elementary in Olathe, Kansas. Radiant with love, a bright spirit, sparkling eyes and a shy smile, GG was a young boy with an old soul and his own style. GG loved to wear his Kansas City team jerseys or anything in his favorite color, royal blue. GG had a special love for his siblings, but took so much pride in being a loving, thoughtful and protective big brother to Gabriel and Genesis. GG enjoyed playing baseball, football and the family tradition of roller skating. He loved learning how things worked. GG had the uncanny ability to know every rule of every game he played, developing strategies to improve and of course, win! He learned how to fish and playing those beloved outdoor childhood games brought him much joy. His inquisitive mind loved building and engineering Match Box cars, playing board games, video games (X-box, of course), watching movies and was never far from his iPad. A determined hard worker full of purpose, GG excelled in school, especially Math, where he didn’t often show his work and would tell his teacher “I did it in my head”! He loved math so much that he wanted to become a Scientist, so he can figure things out and make them even better. To know GG is to love GG and he was tremendously loved by his family, friends, teachers and caregivers. His kind heart was embraced by all of his friends and adults would often praise him for being such a polite, kind and loving child. Forever missed by his family and all who knew him, GG leaves to cherish his memory: his father Geohn Huggins and his mother, Adrien Welches; siblings, Amira Butcher-Huggins, Brayden Huggins, Miracle Jackson, Gabriel Huggins, Genesis Huggins and Elijah Huggins; paternal grandparents, George and Teresa Huggins; maternal grandparents Erica Wilson-Graham and Andrew Welches, maternal great-grandmother, Janice Wilson, aunts and uncles, Marvin Hawkins (Monica); Dr. Nicole Hawkins, Georedt Huggins (Lanisha) and Eric Wilson; plus, a host of extended family of great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. “For the Lord is good, his mercy is everlasting; And his truth endureth to all generations” Psalm 100:5 KJV Services will be avalible livestreamed on: www.olathecc.org/ Flowers and cards can be sent to the following funeral home: Mrs. J.W.
