Frances M. McGarry died on Sunday, November 27, 2022. Mrs. McGarry was born in Manhattan and moved to Stratford in 1956. For many years she was very interested and involved in animal welfare and had been a member of the Board of the Bridgeport Zoological Society. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Atkins and granddaughter, Chloe Atkins. She was predeceased by her husband, John in June 2019 and her daughter, Gail in October 1998. There will be no calling hours. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. by meeting directly in St. Mark’s Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford, CT 06614.
