Robert Neidhardt, 85, of Brookfield, beloved husband of Lucille (Tedesco) Neidhardt, died peacefully at Yorktown Rehab and Nursing Center in Cortland Manor, NY. He was born in Torrington on January 5, 1937, son of the late Emil and Mary (Kearney) Neidhardt. Robert worked in advertising for Benton and Bowles for many years. He was also an accomplished fiction writer, publishing “The Root of all Evil,” and “Final Deception.” Robert enjoyed sailing. In addition to his cherished wife, Lucille, he will be missed by his son, Kurt Neidhardt and his wife, Jeanette; his grandsons, Michael and Mark Neidhardt; and his sisters, Maureen Matava and Doreen Hurley. He was predeceased by his daughter, Linda Neidhardt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 10th at 10:00am at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church in Brookfield. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury on Friday between the hours of 4:00 – 7:00pm.
