View Tribute Book Elbert “Allan” Lynch, 89, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022 at Riverpointe Health Campus. Allan was born in Branchville, Indiana on July 21, 1933 to the late Owen and Marie (Walker) Lynch. He retried from the welfare department where he worked as a case worker. Allan served in the United States Navy Reserves. He enjoyed reading, listening to blue grass, playing cards, and spending time at the family cabin. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Allan will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Allan is survived by his daughter, Marilyn Lynch of Henderson, KY; son, Keith Lynch (Annette) of Evansville, IN; sisters, Mary Lou McAlfresch of Louisville, KY, Anna Mae Riddle of Lanesville, IN, and Debby James of Louisville, IN; grandchildren, Brianna and Shane Lynch; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Allan was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn “Jane” (Pearson) Lynch; his parents; sister, Jean Goldman; and brother, Donald Lynch. A celebration of Allan’s life will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711, with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Friends may visit from 2:00 pm until service time on Thursday at Browning Funeral Home.
