Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Beulah Baptist. Visitation: 6 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at White’s Chapel of Memories in Weatherford. Interment: Newberry Cemetery in Millsap. He was born January 11, 1930, in Moody, Texas, to Otto Charles Wiese and Ella Stuth Wiese. His parents worked hard on farms harvesting cotton, raising chickens and selling eggs. Seeing His parents work hard to make ends meet for their family instilled in him a work ethic that served him Well all of his life. He met Nelda Faye Paulin 1949 at Williams Drug Store in downtown Waco, Texas, Where she worked at the soda fountain. He said the first time he kissed her, he knew she was the one He wanted to spend the rest of his life with. They were married December 31, 1949, in Waco and were Happily married for almost 67 years until her death in November 2016. Eddie learned the craft of instrument repair at Antone Music in Waco where he served as an apprentice. After a year of apprenticeship, he went on to work at music stores in Waco, Beaumont, Dallas and Fort Worth. In 1961, he opened his own music store on East Lancaster in Fort Worth, Wiese Music Service Center (Bandstand). He sold band instruments, guitars and violins and had a musical instrument repair Shop where he worked on band instruments for school districts and students. He also repaired instruments for many professional musicians. Eddie hired his brother-in-law, Johnny Paul, in 1961 And taught him to repair musical instruments, too. It did not matter what shape the instrument was in when it was brought to the music store, Eddie and Johnny and their staff transformed it to look like a new Instrument. Wiese Music’s reputation for excellent workmanship was well known in the DFW Metroplex and surrounding areas. Eddie committed his life to God in 1966 at Fielder Road Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas where he was An active member until 1971. He then began attending Truth Church in Fort Worth where he was a church elder and involved in many area of ministry for his church. For the last few years, he dearly loved his Lambert Switch singing friends who met on Saturday a month to fellowship and sing praises to their Lord. Eddie served as Chaplain for Truck Stop Ministries for more than 25 years. He played his guitar, sang and taught God’s Word to truck drivers at the Petro Truck Stop in Weatherford, Texas. He loved this Ministry and God used him to touch the lives of many men and women who were usually driving their Trucks on Sunday. However, with the convenience of a chapel at the truck stop, they could take the time to attend a service for an hour on Sunday morning or evening. The family wishes to thank College Park Rehabilitation and Care Center for their dedication, love and special care they gave their Dad and Papa during his last months. A special thank you to Sarah, Michelle and Ronni for the extra attention and love each of them bestowed on our Dad—he loved you, too. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, wife and sister Esther Bagby. He is survived by his 4 children: Regina Patteson (Dale), Shirley Wickizer (Jon), Roger Wiese (Connie), And Jennifer Eason (Lance); 7 grandchildren: Justin Coburn (Elizabeth), Clay Coburn (Rachael), Angela Faucher (Ernie), Aaron Wiese, Heather Hester (Levi), Nathan Eason (Brittany), and Brandon Eason (Emily); 12 great-grandchildren: Harrison, Ella and Pierce Faucher, Jaci Martinez (Jose), Toby Coburn, Asher and Evie Coburn, Jack and Jameson Hester, Zoey Eason, Charlotte and Emberly Eason.
