Obituary Douglas Allen Ray, age 63 of Hazelwood, Missouri, was called home to paradise on Monday, August 29, 2022 after suffering a massive heart attack. Doug was born on Tuesday, August 25, 1959 in Raleigh, North Carolina, one of three children born to James C. and Edna Ray. After high school, he spent most of his career as a maintenance technician at various companies until becoming disabled. A few years ago, he met, fell in love and was engaged to Linda Nobbe. He quickly became an integral part of their family and they treasured the time they got to spend with him. His enjoyments in life included Cardinal Baseball, vintage cars and being with family. He was friendly, outgoing, and was a great friend to everyone he met. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his fiancée, Linda Nobbe (nee Muprhy); their fur-baby, Sweetiepie; three step-daughters, Barb (John) Coleman, Jennifer Smith (Jim Easterby), and Nicole Cruz (Tim Kallal); ten grandchildren, Carissa Sewell, Smantha Sewell, Jenna Merseal, Adaline Coleman, Nathan Coleman, Anthony Cruz, Gabriella Cruz, Andrew Kallal, Sabastian Manning, and Malakai Kallal.
