View Tribute Book Dorothy “Dotsy” Lee (Dillman) Stephens, 96, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Solarbron. Dotsy was born in Elkton, Kentucky on June 16, 1926 to the late Henry Dillman and Betty (Wilson) Dillman Clark. She attended Central High School and retired from Bernardin Bottle Cap after 31 years of service. Dotsy was a member of All Saints Catholic Parish. She enjoyed gardening, walking, Clabber, Bingo, and Bunco. Her most favorite time was the annual family trip to Daytona Beach where she sat on the beach watching the ocean. Dotsy was a country music fan with Alan Jackson and Toby Keith being her favorites. She was the longest resident at Independence Square where she served as Vice President of the resident council and volunteered in the dining room. Above all, Dotsy loved spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Dotsy is survived by her daughters, Sandy Bruno of Evansville, IN, Bettye Ann Case of Evansville, IN and Pam Ricketts of Parker, CO; grandchildren, Tony Bruno (Sherri), Stefanie Brown (Nick), MiLinda Case, Davey Ricketts (Allison), and Ben Ricketts (Danielle); great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Rachel, Ava, Dahlia, Jameson, Casey, Ryan, Kaylee, Brady, Ellie, and Mia; and several great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Dotsy was preceded in death by her daughter in 2004, Linda Lou Gibson; her parents; her two husbands, Henry Ford Gibson and Bradford Elmo Stephens; sons-in-law, John, Brad and David; granddaughter, Michelle Case. Dotsy was the oldest of nine siblings and the last remaining one to pass. A celebration of Dotsy’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, November 21, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit from 12:00 noon until service time on Sunday at Browning Funeral Home.
