Donna’s Obituary Spartanburg, SC- Donna Stewart Parris, 70, wife of Franklin Lamar Parris, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family and dogs. Born December 20, 1951 in Spartanburg, SC, Donna was a daughter of Charles Edward Stewart and the late Yvonne Willis Bunkie Stewart. She was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and was previously employed with Flowers Baking Co. and Harley Corporation. Donna was an animal lover who enjoyed creating art and attending art shows of any kind. She had an artistic nature, bringing beauty to the world in so many ways. Donna was a longtime member of Canaan Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Frank, she leaves behind her sons, Jason Lamar Parris (Melissa), Jeffrey Scott Parris (Christy), and Jamie Lamar Parris (Katie); seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Edward Steward (Carol) and Richard “Rick” Craig Stewart; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, December 2nd, 12:30 until 1:30PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow in Heritage Memorial Gardens at 2:00PM, officiated by Reverend Dr. Steve Wise. The family will be at the home of Scott and Christy Parris following the graveside service.
