Donna’s Obituary Donna was born Friday, October 11, 1940 at Roff, Oklahoma to Ira Elmore “Buster” and Dovie Anna Hudson Patton and moved to Ada, Oklahoma in 1942 with her parents. She attended Washington and Irving Elementary School, Ada Junior High School and graduated Ada High School in May 1958 and attended East Central State College. In the 1960’s she was a bookkeeper for the Salvation Army, Ted Henderson Pontiac, Marion Fenton Pontiac all of Ada, Oklahoma and moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the year of 1966 and worked for the Commissioners of The Land Office at the State Capitol Building. On September 1, 1968 she moved to Atoka, Oklahoma and lived there for 36 years and was a bookkeeper for Hubbard Nursing Home, Plantation Manor Nursing Home and Noel’s Food Marts, Inc. / Noel’s Oil Company Donna retired August 27, 2003 and moved back to Ada September 25, 2004. She also kept books for her granddaughter’s business, A. Murphy Enterprises, LLC beginning in 2005. She was a member of Oak Avenue Baptist Church, Ada, Oklahoma. Preceding her in death were her parents, Ira Elmore “Buster” Patton and Dovie Anna (Hudson-Patton) Ferguson; one brother Elmore Lavoy “Junior” Patton; one sister, Ona Lee Patton. Survivors include granddaughter Audrey Anna Murphy-Romine and husband Joshua, Fitzhugh, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Jeremy Che’ Burrow and wife Chyna and Casey Joe Burrow of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three great-grandchildren Kayannna Azane Burrow, Cristalynne Joanna Burrow, and Kayla Charee Burrow of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one nephew Ronald Patton and wife Peggy of Fort Mill, South Carolina; To plant Memorial Trees in memory of Donna Patton, please click here to visit our Sympathy Store.
