BOMBAY – Donald F. “Donnie” Durant, 62, of Coville Bay Apartments, passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 30, 2022, at the Massena Rehabilitation and Nursing Center after a brief stay. Donnie was born on September 13, 1960 in Malone, the son of the late Bernard E. and Marguerite Jennie (Ghostlaw) Durant and was a graduate of Salmon River Central School. Donnie was a self-employed farmer until becoming disabled. He greatly enjoyed working on the farm and maintaining his tractors, along with many others. He also enjoyed doing carpentry work and spending time with his grandchildren. Donnie is survived by his children, Jennifer (David), Justin, Jill, Jacqueline, Desiree, Megan, Bernard, and Tyler; several grandchildren including, Liam, Kyle, Anna, and Abby; his sisters, Connie, Laurie, and Joy; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters and a brother. Arrangements for cremation are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, however services will be held privately with burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Bombay.
