Dona Dianne Eaton July 17, 1938 – November 12, 2022 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Dona Dianne Eaton, 84, of Du Quoin, passed away Saturday morning, November 12, 2022 at the St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Dona had been a homemaker. She was a member of the Sunfield Methodist Church. Dona was very family oriented and enjoyed watching family sports. She was an avid Du Quoin sports fan and an avid camper. She was born July 17, 1938 in Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Hal and Inez (Hackleman) Bishop. She married Robert Earl Eaton on June 2, 1956 at the Sunfield Methodist Church and he preceded her in death on September 17, 2007. She is survived by three daughters – Sabrina Harris and husband Gary, Jacque Ford and husband Nyle, and Tammy Williams, all of Sunfield, one son – Robert Eaton and wife Lori of Du Quoin, ten grandchildren – Chad Harris, Chris Harris and wife Chelsey, Tyrel Williams and wife Tabatha, Kylee Williams, Jayci Day and husband Justin, Trey Ford, Bryce Ford, Jakob Eaton, Collin Eaton, and McKenzie Eaton, five great grandchildren – Xavier Baxter Harris, Kayla Williams, Thomas Williams, Rilynn Ford and Aylah Ford, three siblings – Halene Hampleman of Du Quoin, Fred Bishop and wife Jan of Swansea, IL, and Sue Murry and husband Keith of Du Quoin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son-in-law – Marshall Williams. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Sunfield Methodist Church with Rev. Shane Bishop officiating. Friends may call from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin. Friends may make memorials to the Sunfield Methodist Church – Men’s or Women’s Group or to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
