Diane Waters Phillips peacefully departed this life December 16, 2022. Born February 25 ,1942 in Linthicum Heights, she was the daughter of Milton and Carolyn Waters. On June 6, 1964 Diane would marry Granville Phillips. Together with Granville the love of his life, the two would build a life together building a family, having two beautiful children Carolyn Elizabeth Phillips (Beth) and Granville Lee Phillips III (Grant). Diane was a caring thoughtful, kind and generous person. She never met a stranger and served everyone with a pure heart. “If someone doesn’t like her then something was wrong with them, because she was so sweet, generous, hospitable and nurturing,” would be the words Grant her son would use to describe her life and legacy. Diane was a devoted member of the Red Hats Society and Daughters of American Revolution (D.A.R), for many years and loved them all dearly. Diane is preceded in death and now joined with her parents and her husband Granville Phillips Jr. and daughter Beth Phillips. Diane leaves to cherish her warm memories her devoted and loving son Grant who will miss his mother dearly, and will continue to love her with all his heart.
