David’s Obituary David Keith Etheridge, 70, a resident of the Hillsboro community passed away peacefully Thursday, November 17, 2022 at home with his loved ones by his side. David was born on May 21, 1952 in Norfolk, Virginia to Winfred and Marian Etheridge. After graduating from High School, David enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country for four years. He married Lucy Williams and were blessed with two children. After his service, David worked as an Air Traffic Controller in airports including Medford, Portland and Hillsboro until his retirement. David loved hiking, traveling and was an avid reader. He also loved bowling and spent many years on bowling leagues and participating in many Mt. St. Helens Bowling Tournaments. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife; Lucy, his children; Valencia Dooley of North Carolina, David II and Jennifer of Oregon, two siblings; Wayland and Sandra Etheridge of Virginia, Ronald and Clara Etheridge of Virginia, five grandchildren; William, Shae, Veleah, Deven, Zaydius, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives.
