David Allen Fisher Sr. August 19, 1958 – November 20, 2022 64 Years Old David Sr. Was born August 19th in Gloversville NY, more specifically the story he loved to tell was, that he entered in the world on the four corners on Main Street in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. David passed on Sunday November 20, 2022 at Nathan Littauer Hospital surrounded by his beloved children and family. David was very proud to be a Marine. He served his country honorably and always talked of his days spent in the fields and mountains during training. If you were lucky enough to hear one of his many stories of his time spent serving you would of seen the light and love in his eyes of doing so. David had many occupations through his life, Bouncer at a bar, “mill rat” in many Gloversville Leather Mills, and Custodial work in Gloversville School District. He was a jack of all trades when it came to work and in his everyday life. When David turned 8 years old his love for the Chicago Bears began, he tried to never miss a game. He collected everything from stickers, key chains and Jersey’s of the team. He also loved the New York Yankees and if he wasn’t sporting a Bears shirt you would see him in a Yankees’ one. His favorite thing to collect were his shirts of his teams and hats also. David was predeceased by both of his parents, Father: Albert V. Fisher Sr. And his Mother: Gail {Blowers} LeVielle. Also one sibling Albert V. Fisher Jr. David is survived by his loving wife of almost 43 years, Vicky (Darling) Fisher. His four children Raechel Fisher {Andy C.}, Jennifer Fisher {Christy A.}, Desiree Edwards {Konrad}, and David A. Fisher Jr. {Jenea S.}. Also two siblings Katherine Fisher, and Charles Fisher. David also had 12 grandchildren he loved dearly and never missed an opportunity to joke and tease with them. Zach Hayes, Owen & Kendra Thompson, Kolton & Khloe Edwards, Abrianna, David III, Cecilia, George, Bentley, Julian, & Easton Fisher. He was also survived by my other family members and loved ones. We also can’t forget his beloved dog Carolina, who stayed by her dads side right up until the end protecting him and making sure he always knew she was there. Davids final wishes were to be cremated and for no calling hours or big service. Instead the family will have a private service in the spring to lay him to rest at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Where he will be laid to rest with other Veteran’s and fellow “Jarheads” . The family like to do a celebration of life which will be announced at a later date. In a final way to say good bye from Dave, Semper Fi…
