Cynthia Robin Widener, 62, entered into the loving arms of her Savior during the morning hours of Tuesday (August 16, 2022) at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Cynthia was born in Saltville, VA on September 27, 1959 to David & Omagine Brewer. Cynthia was a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and later attended Northern Virginia Community College. She later married Roger “Hot Rod” on October 22, 1976. Cynthia retired from Country Boy Seed, Inc. after 12 years of dedicated service. Cynthia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend; she will be greatly missed. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 45 years, Raymond Widener; parents, David & Omagine Brewer; daughter, Wendy Dardis & husband Ian; sons, Shawn Widener & wife Brandalyn and Nathan Widener; sister, Connie Wacker & husband Bryan; eight grandchildren, Riley Widener, Alyssa Widener, Liam Widener, Giselle Widener, Jacob Dardis, Makaila Dardis, Ethan Dardis, and Nataleigh Widener; niece, Amanda; two nephews, Brian, Jr. and Ben; and a host of friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to your local animal shelter or your favorite animal charity. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her daughter Wendy Dardis and her sister, Connie Wacker for the kind and compassionate care.
