Obituary Please share a memory of Crispin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends. View Tribute Book His name is Crispin Gallardo Torres, but we know him as husband, dad, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, uncle and friend. He was very proud of his, and our Mexican Heritage. Michoacan, being his home state, was always close to his heart. As soon as he heard the tune of Juan Colorado, he would be ready to jump up and dance, we his descendants now do the same thing. Becoming a grandfather to 20 grandchildren changed his life, he loved them dearly with all of his heart. He may or may not have told them but each and every one of the grandkids knew it because he was a man of few words and demonstrated his love for them with actions. Dad very much disliked arriving anywhere late- he felt that being late was very disrespectful. His youngest granddaughter is proud of the fact that grandpa ”Pipin” was always the first one at the front of the school for after-school pickup. He would arrive up to one and a half hours before pickup time, just to please her. Coffee was his drink of choice, day and night. He loved food, one may even call him a foodie. He was especially proud of how his grandchildren inherited that trait from him. His love of reading and learning has been passed on to his children and grandchildren as well. Many people who had known him will be able to share an anecdote about how he was there to lend a helping hand when they were in need. Many others will share the pieces of advice that he gave them. Husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather & friend: you leave a massive hole in our hearts, and you will truly be missed by us all. Rest in peace knowing that you have sown the seeds and thirst for knowledge and empathy in your grandchildren- knowing that your legacy will live on.
