Obituary Mrs. Connie Jane Farthing, 62, of Richmond, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022, at Baptist Health – Richmond. Connie was born on April 9, 1960, in Madison County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late David & Lucille Howard Thomas. She attended Madison Central High school and was a former employee of Kokoku Rubber where she worked in quality control and then later at the Krystal restaurant. Connie enjoyed working in her flower garden and loved spending time with her family. Survivors include: her husband of 34 years, Garry Farthing; three sisters, Margaret Thomas, Betty Hurley (Ronnie Bowen), and Anita Thomas, her brother-in-laws, and sisters-in-laws, Brenda Parke (Garnett), Joan Charles (Ray), Faye Logsdon, Randall Farthing (Mary), and David Farthing (Charlotte); several nieces & nephews and her special cat, Jimmy. In accordance with Connie’s wishes, services will be private. The Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main St., Richmond, is in charge of the arrangements.
