View Tribute Book Mr. Charles William “Bud” Chambers, 71, passed away on Sunday evening, December 11, 2022, at his home. He was born in Hazel Green Kentucky on October 5, 1951, the son of the late Charles Russell & Betty Creech Chambers. At a young age, Bud began working alongside his parents in their furniture business. He was the owner and operator of Chambers Service Center for over 47 years and after the passing of his late parents, he acquired C & C Bargain Barn where he continued on until his retirement. Bud also was an antique collector and enjoyed attending auctions and restoring furniture. In 2021 he gave his life to the Lord and was baptized. Survivors include: his wife of 48 years, Beverly Long Chambers; his children, Buddy Joseph “BJ” Chambers (Jennifer), Chasity Moore (Brian), and Kim Grewell (Wade); his grandchildren, Fallon Chambers (Dakota), Alexis Chambers, Katelyn Moore, Ashley Callender (Dylan), and Justin Grewell (Lacey); his great-grandchildren, Colton Begley, Ryan Callender, Lacey Callender, Gage Grewell, and Bryson Grewell; one sister, Sharon Francis (Ron); as well as a host of other extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Chambers. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main St., Richmond, with Bro. Johnny King and Bro. Jim Creech officiating. Burial will follow in the Creech Family Cemetery in Campton. Visitation will be from 5-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be: Buddy Joseph “BJ” Chambers, Brian Moore, Dakota Begley, Ronald Wayne Francis, Gary Long and Don Long. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jr. Martin, Wade Grewell, Justin Grewell and Mark Coffey. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Charles, please visit our Tree Store.
