Charlene Hearn Stooksbury 2022

2022
On November 9, 2022, our Gram, Charlene Hearn Stooksbury, born October 1, 1941, our cherished wife, mom and grandmother went to be with Jesus after a battle with cancer. Her faithful heart of a servant was known for doing everything for everyone with a smile on her face and love in her heart. She was the originator of shabby chic, a lover of the beach and mountains, and explorer of the countryside in search of that next great find with her husband of 54 years. She is survived by her husband, Sammie Stooksbury, and children, Stephen Stooksbury and Susan (Gary) Baker, and grandchildren, Sarah and James Stooksbury and Addison and Hudson Baker. Please join us to celebrate her life. Visitation: Friday, November 11, 2022 Cochran Funeral Home, Chapel, Blue Ridge 3:00-5:00 pm Graveside Service: Sunday, November 13, 2022 Corinth Cemetery, Loudon, TN 2:00 pm The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him! The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord. For no one is abandoned by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion because of the greatness of his unfailing love. For he does not enjoy hurting people or causing them sorrow. Lamentations 3:22-26, 31-33
