Caron Cae Foreman, 80, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Foreman. Caron was born in Marion, Ohio on June 17, 1942, daughter of the late William M. and Alice K. (Vance) Collins. Caron was the secretary and an active member at York Alliance Church. After graduating from the University of West Virginia in1960, she taught elementary school in Hanover, PA, was a manager at Bookland for over 20 years and helped staff the gift shop at York Hospital. Caron was happiest when she was serving others and she continued to make an impact on her local community throughout her later years. She is survived by her daughter, Jill Farrell and her husband, Sean; son, James Foreman and his wife, Trisha; five grandchildren, Liam, Tara, Owen, and Gwyn Farrell, and Andrew Foreman; her nephew, Kevin Bowman; and her niece, Kelli Grace. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sue Bowman. A celebration of Caron’s life will be held after regular Sunday services from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at York Alliance Church on October 16, 2022. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to York Alliance Church, 501 Rathton Road, York, PA 17403. Arrangements by the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E.
