Obituary Carol Ream, 79, of Del City passed away from this life on Monday, December 12, 2022. She was born on November 11, 1943, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Samuel Thomas O’Neal and Julia Ann (Harris) O’Neal. She grew up in the Capital Hill area of Oklahoma City. She met Stanley James Randel and they were married and gave birth to two daughters Laura Lynn and Lisa Sharmaine. Carol retired in 2007, after more than 20 years of federal service at Tinker AFB. She started her career in the wash rack, stripping paint from plane parts and ended her career as a Distribution Process Worker for the Defense Logistics Agency. She was not afraid of hard work or getting her hands dirty. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, bird watching, spending time watching Fox News and listening to talk radio. She never met a stranger, and her home was always open for the ones she loved. She received great joy in building friendships. She also enjoyed painting, playing with her 6 great grandchildren. She was an avid magazine and QVC shopper. She liked to play pool, darts, and cards every week when she was younger. Her family’s fondest memories were that she loved to have fun, play board games, and took the family on many vacations. She was known for her unique personality and known for never taking life for granted. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Julia O’Neal; her grandparents; her sister, Vickie O’Neal; her brother, Jerry O’Neal; and her daughter, Laura Hulse. Carol is survived by her daughter, Lisa Randel and husband Jay Tatum of Oklahoma City; son-in-law, Terence and wife Melody Hulse of Midwest City; granddaughter, Shanlee and husband Tyler Bartlett of Midwest City; grandson, Tyler and wife Stephanie Aud of Guthrie; niece, Ashley and husband Chad Davis of Harrah; niece, Stephanie O’Neal of Branson; nephew, Sean O’Neal of Santa Barbara; 6 great grandchildren and many loved great nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service to celebrate and remember Carol’s life will be held at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home in Midwest City, Oklahoma on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 4:00pm.
