Carol Ann Jones-Willis, a retired LPN, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on November 6, 1946 to the late Margie and Harrold Jones. Beloved wife of the late Claude Willis, Sr. Three children were born to this union Claude Willis, Jr., Keith Willis, Sr., and Jennifer Willis Marable. Loving grandmother of five grandchildren Claude III, Keith Willis, Jr., Cameron Willis, Gabrielle and Brandon Marable. Carol is also survived by her daughters in law Toni and Monica Willis; son in law Rendell Marable; one sister, Cheryl Brown (Gaylot), two brothers Gregory (Valarie) and Daniel (Janet) Jones, devoted cousins Connie and Cathy Randolph, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carol is preceded in death by her sisters Marilyn and Ruby Jones; brothers David, Daryl, Robert, and Harold Jones; sister in law, Geraldine Jones. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1923 St. Philip St., New Orleans, LA 70116 on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 10:00 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am until 10:00 am. Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Arrangements by D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Ave. New Orleans, LA 70125.
