Bryan David Childress of Ft. Myers, FL passed away at his residence on December 18, 2022. Bryan was born on September 5, 1978 in Nashville, TN. He moved to Woodstock, GA with his family in 1973. He graduated from Etowah High School and attended North Metro Tech. Bryan worked as a logistics coordinator for an air courier company in Atlanta, GA for many years. Bryan had been a resident of FL since September 2021 where he worked with family at The Keys Bar and Grille. Bryan was fiercely loyal to his family, friends and fellow co-workers. He was an avid University of Tennessee football fan and supported the New York Yankees in baseball. Survivors include his son, Jeremy Childress (Leanna) and granddaughter, Ember; parents, Ron and Debbie Childress; brother, Brent Childress (Sarah) and nieces, Blakely and Keagan Childress; grandparents, Norman and Ruth Gardner; uncles, Norman T. Gardner (Debbie) and Buddy Childress; cousins, Kelly Davis (Craig) and Wesley Posey (Ashley). He was preceded in death by grandparents, Charlie and Bert Childress; uncle, Alan Posey; and cousin, Jason Childress. Bryan was loved by his family and friends and he will be missed dearly. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice. As Bryan wished, his immediate family will gather to celebrate his life.
