September 1 1940 July 13 2022
Bradley J. “Jerry” Little, 81, of York died Wednesday morning, July 13, at SpiriTrust Lutheran, The Village at Sprenkle Drive. He was the husband of the late Barbara A. (Landis) Little. Born September 1, 1940 in Spring Grove, he was the son of the late Clarence W. and Mildred L. (Sterner) Little. Brad worked for C.S. Davidson Civil Engineers for two years after graduating from Spring Grove High School in 1958. He then moved to P.H. Glatfelter Pulpwood Company, where he retired as a beater room foreman after nearly 40 years of employment. In retirement, he worked briefly delivering for a local florist, and later, auto parts for Marley Gross Ford in Spring Grove. Brad and Barb were active members of Saint Paul Lutheran Church on Trinity Road for more than 50 years. They were mini tons at the church for 10 years and Brad served on St. Paul’s Wolf’s Church Cemetery Board for almost 40 years. Brad loved everything about automobiles and was a self-professed “motorhead.” He loved to travel and attend NASCAR races around the country with his best traveling partner, Barb. He also enjoyed riding his bicycle on the rail trail with his friend, Fred Meyer. Family was very important to Brad. He and Barb dearly loved every member of theirs through nearly 60 years of marriage. They were always available to help with projects and just enjoy time with one another. In their latter years together, he cared for Barb through many medical problems until her death two years ago. Brad is survived by his four children: Scott B. Little (and wife, Missy) of Elizabethtown; Barry J. Little (and wife, Eileen) of Red Lion; Belinda A. Jackson (and husband, Todd) of York; and LaDawn E. Huber (and husband Dave) of York; eight grandchildren: Derek, Morgan, Rachel (and husband, Shane Bohnert), Erica (and husband, Erick Toscano), Spencer (and wife, Tatyana), Evan, Sara, and Carly; a great granddaughter: Elsie, and three more great grandchildren soon to be born; sister-in-law Karen E. Koller (and husband Jack) of Seven Valleys; niece Katie Winemiller (and husband, Chris), and nephew, Chris Koller (and wife, Kara). He was preceded in death by Olivia Bohnert, his great granddaughter. Following cremation, a Celebration of Brad’s Life will be held Monday, July 25, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Saint Paul Lutheran Church, 250 Trinity Road, York with his pastors, the Rev. Sally A. Gausman and the Rev. Paul W. Gausman, officiating. Visitations will be held Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 3-5 p.m. and Monday from 9:30-11:00 a.m. (prior to the service), both at the church. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family at St. Paul’s Wolf’s Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) Foundation, pkdcure.org, P.O. Box 871847, Kansas City, MO 64187; or to Saint Paul Lutheran Church, 250 Trinity Road, York, PA 17408. Arrangements by the Etzweiler-Koller Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 2000 W.
