Bonnie Ray Dunn Dean, 92, of Orange, passed away on July 16, 2022, at Golden Years Assisted Living in Orange. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 22, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Wilkinson Cemetery in Orange. Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m., Friday, July 22, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Born in Orange, Texas, on September 23, 1929, she was the daughter of Gordon Dunn and Oleta Ray Dunn. Bonnie was a dedicated member of Methodist Church of Mauriceville, some of her fondest memories were singing in the church choir. She enjoyed painting and crossword puzzles in her spare time. Bonnie often volunteered for the Red Cross and was always happy with a big smile on her face. She was often referred to as the “fun aunt” and absolutely loved her family. Bonnie will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Dean; parents, Gordon and Oleta Dunn; and brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Freda Dunn. She is survived by her nieces, Cathy Morton and husband Bobby of Vidor, Rebecca Hebert and husband Randy of Mauriceville; nephews, William Dunn of Arizona, Dean Dunn of Mauriceville; one great-niece, Zoe Dunn; ten great-nephews, Cody Hebert, Landon Hebert, Carson Hebert, Asa Smith, Zain Smith, Payton Smith, Josh Dunn, Kieran Dunn, Ryan Dunn, Logan Dunn; good friends and cousins Sandra and Beth; as well as numerous other loving family and friends. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Best Hospice and Golden Years Assisted Living.
