Obituary Blake Anthony Austin, 35, Rogersville, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022 at his home. He was born August 5, 1986 in Waterloo, Iowa the son of Jeffrey L. and Sheila S. (Strachota) Austin. Blake had the biggest infectious smile, and gave the best hugs. He was a dreamer with infinite talents. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. He was a loyal friend that would give the shirt off his back. He was a Raider’s fan, enjoyed wakeboarding, dirt bikes and 4 -wheelers. He loved hard, and played hard. He will be desperately missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by his mother, Sheila Austin and her husband David Minnehan, a sister, Britni Dalton and her husband Josh, their children, Israel, Elijah, Isaiah, and Ezekiel; his paternal grandmother, Norma Austin, his maternal grandmother, Marlys Horn, and Cindy Strachota, an Aunt, Renee Graves, three uncles, Dana Austin and his wife Liz, Jon Austin, and Dan Austin and his wife Camella; cousins, Ty, Tawni, Megan, Jordan, Kristin, Julian, Alexa, Savannah, Olivia, and Cody; several other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jeff Austin in 2003 and his maternal grandfather, Vern Strachota in 2021. The family request privacy as they grieve.
