View Tribute Book Obituary Billy Joe Duncan, 81 of Eugene, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. He was born December 8, 1940 in Hickory Hill, Missouri the son of the late Claude Henry and Florence (Gilpin) Duncan. On March 25, 1967 he was united in marriage to Joyce J. (Twyman) Duncan who survives of the home. Other survivors include, Son, Wes Duncan (Mikki) of Eugene, MO Daughter, Monica Bond (Mark R.) of Eugene, MO Grandchildren, Lexy Thompson (Anthony), Cody Duncan, Kelsey Urbanek (Mark), Gregory Bond (Fiona), Lydia Bond Several Nieces & Nephews Brother, Bobby Duncan (Betty) A sister, Betty Ann Dooling preceded him in death. Billy Joe was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed with MoDot for thirty plus years in road maintenance. He loved farming and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with a Graveside Service beginning at 1:30 PM at Hickory Hill Cemetery with Bishop Kevin Backes officiating. Full Military Honors will be presented. Memorials in his name are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
