View Tribute Book Bernice Elaine Ward neĆ© Bone died December 8, 2022, at DePaul Hospital – St. Louis, MO following a period of declining health. Bernice was born on August 17, 1956, in Visalia, CA, to the late Henry and Janice (Fraser) Bone and graduated from Benjamin Bosse High School in 1974. She received an Associates degree from ISUE in 1976 and a Bachelor of Science from Phoenix University. Bernice worked as a database manager for companies in New Hampshire and Tennessee. Bernice was a member of Monte Vista Baptist Church in Maryville, TN, where she was an active part of her Adult Sunday School class. Bernice showed purebred cats, was good at handcrafts (she loved knitting best), and enjoyed reading. Surviving are her daughter, Heather Ward of St. Louis, MO, her sister, Audrey (Robert) Greubel of Evansville, IN, her brother, Mike (Billie) Bone of Smithville,OH, her nieces, Sarah and Anne Bone, and Mindy (Jabe) Hale, and her nephews, Ben Bone, and Rob (Sarah) Greubel, and her great-niece, Valerie Greubel. She was preceded in death by her parents. Details are being handled by St. Louis Cremation. The family will have a private service at their convenience.
