Benjamin Muñoz, 61, was called by the Lord on December 16, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel & Juana Muñoz, siblings: Maria de Lourdes Muñoz, Samuel Muñoz, Gustavo Muñoz, & Mayela Muñoz, & daughter, Angelica Muñoz. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Margarita Sepulveda de Muñoz, daughter, Sonya Cortez (Carlos), grandchildren: Carlos Cortez Jr (Erika Macias), Jessica Leticia Cortez (Jose Carlos Garcia), Deslie Anahi Cortez, Reynaldo Cortez, Alex Cortez, & Camila Cortez, siblings: Rogelio Muñoz, Maria Elena Muñoz, Adriana Muñoz, Maricela Muñoz, & Sonia Muñoz, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive condolences on Monday, December 19, 2022, from 5pm to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a rosary will be held at 7 pm. Funeral procession will depart the funeral chapel at 11 am on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow immediately after the funeral mass at the Laredo City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Carlos Cortez, Carlos Cortez Jr., Rogelio Muñoz, Antonio Buentello, Abelardo Buentello, & Juan Torres.
