Obituary LAFAYETTE ~ Private memorial services will be held at a later date for Barbara Terro, age 70, who passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Cornerstone at the Ranch Nursing Home in Lafayette. Barbara was a native of Rayne and lived most of her life in Sulphur. She attended the School for the Deaf in Baton Rouge as a child. She was employed with the City of Sulphur Waterworks for many years. Barbara also attended the Affiliated Blind of Louisiana where she felt like she belonged to a community. Survivors include one daughter, Jo-Nel Terro and companion, Benjamin Richard, of Scott; two grandchildren, Anthony Torres, Jr. and Ian Richard; and two brothers, Doug Terro of Sulphur and Dale Terro of Sulphur. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford Joseph Terro and the former Euella Breaux; one brother, Robert Terro; and one sister, Carolyn Terro Johnson.
