Ann Iveney Gilman Lemmond, 73, of Pawtucket, RI, formerly of Newberry, SC, and Corrigan, TX, widow of Murray Richard “Bo” Lemmond, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Herbert Cleveland Gilman and Frances Arlene Gilman. Ann grew up in Millinocket, MA and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Hampshire before starting a lifetime career as a Human Resources Manager for 39 years at Georgia Pacific. She enjoyed traveling, making jewelry and also worked community service at Corrigan-Camden Resource Center. Ann is survived by her children, Jennifer Lemmond and Richard Lemmond (Bradford Hunt) all of Rhode Island; a sister, Judith Govalet (Gordon) of Bradenton, Florida; a niece, Whitney Guhin of New Jersey; nephews, Taylor Garland of Florida and Samuel Garland of California; and several other family and friends whom she loved dearly. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, January 2, 2023, at Bush River Baptist Church Cemetery in Newberry, SC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to your local cancer research institute.
