Mrs. Johnson was born July 30, 1937 in Rusk, TX to James Willis Clifton and Ruth Johnson Clifton. Amie was a Baptist by faith. She loved to crochet, read and do puzzles. She was a homemaker until she got her children raised and then she went to work for Guardline. She is survived by three sons, James David Johnson and wife, Jackie of Doddridge, AR, Benny Johnson and wife, Diane of Rodessa, LA, Lee Johnson and wife, Angie of Doddridge, AR; one brother, Richie Clifton of Sarepta, LA; daughter-in-law, Elaine Johnson of Doddridge, AR; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, D.J. Johnson; parents, James and Ruth Johnson; daughter, Cathy Dee and one son, Danny Ray Johnson. Services will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2022 at Brown Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Hanner Funeral Service.
