She was born in Willards and was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Ellis and Etta Wilkins Dukes. She was a production manager for Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin. She is survived by a daughter, Stacey M. Ellis of Willards; a brother, Ray Ellis and wife Barbara of Millsboro; a sister, Charlene Brady and husband Dayne of Cayman Islands; four grandchildren, Brooklynn Ellis (Malcolm), Caitlin (Richie) Mitchell, Landon Mitchell and Hunter Mitchell; four great grandchildren, Layla Downing, Isabella Reichenberg, Avah Downing and Harper Reichenberg; her best friend, Marge Brady of Willards and several nieces and nephews. Donations in her memory may be made to the Wicomico County Humane Society, 5130 Citation Drive, Salisbury, MD 21804. No services are scheduled at this time.
