Phillip Albert Miller “Al” 93 years old died on 12/18/22 at The Beartooth Billings Hospital. Born March 20,1929 in Evansville, Indiana to Herman and Cora Miller. Al grew up in Peoria, Illinois. Al graduated from Manuel High School. Phillip and Joyce were married June 8, 1953, in the Miller home in Peoria, Illinois. He served in Navy July 12,1948 to July 2,1952. He was a member of the Carpoletti Group, named after ship he served on. He has been a member on Lions Club. American Legion member for over 50 years. Member of United States Navy Memorial. Retired from Sysco Food in 1990. Al was in the grocery business all his life. He was preceded in death by son Michael, daughter Cheryl and by his granddaughter Sandee. He is survived by his wife Joyce of the home and Daughter Cynde of the home, Phillip Douglas Sr Harris (Jennifer)Las Vegas, NV, Curtiss Meehan (Kim) Rolling Meadows, Il, 3 greatgrandchildren: Phillip D Harris Jr- Las Vegas, Amryn and Joryn Meehan of Rolling Meadows, IL. plus, several nieces and nephews. Al was member of UCC Church Red Lodge, Mt. Our great THANKS to the staff at our hospital who took the best care of any we have known.
