NAPLES, FL – CLINTON, NY ~ It is with the greatest sadness that the family of William N. Macartney, III, 79, of Naples, FL and Clinton, share with you his unexpected passing after a brief illness on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, with his loving family at his side. Until the time of his death, Bill had served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Indium Corporation. TENTATIVE FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS: Funeral Services for Bill will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, beginning with a 9:00 a.m. family Prayer Service at Friedel, Williams and Edmunds Funeral Home, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford, NY 13413, followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral service from Grace Church, 6 Elizabeth St., Utica, NY 13501, with the Rev. Christine Williams-Belt, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Clinton. Calling hours for family and friends will be on Friday, September 24th, from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
