Obituary Theopolis Lavelle Shuttlesworth departed this life on February 12, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. “Lavelle” was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 27, 1976 to Theo “Ben” Shuttlesworth and the late Jeannette James. Lavelle moved to Akron, Ohio and attended Akron Public Schools. Lavelle earned his GED and a certificate in plumbing. During his lifetime he enjoyed competing in sports, especially boxing and football. Lavelle also loved flaunting his Chicago Bulls attire. Lavelle was baptized and accepted Christ as his personal savior. Lavelle is survived by his Fiancé, Christina Thompson; children, Taylor Thompson and Michael and Brooklyn Shuttlesworth; Dad, Theo “Ben” Shuttlesworth; his beloved brother, Michael Shuttlesworth; special niece, Journey Shuttlesworth; and a host of other family members and friends.
