Obituary of Peggy L. Hill Peggy L. Hill, 70, of Lakewood, NY, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at the Blair Hospice Residence in Warren, Pa. She was born August 4, 1951 in Jamestown, a daughter of the late William and Mabel Upperman Swiderski, and was a 1969 graduate of Jamestown High School. Peggy had been employed for many years by Sandee’s Bakery, and also belonged to the Kiantone Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading and loved time with her family. Surviving is her husband, Brian R. Hill, whom she married May 11, 1974; daughter, Michelle (Jamie) Smith of Jamestown; three sisters: Janet (Nick) Schepis of Lakewood, Darlene Johnson of Jamestown, and Debra Haller of Kiantone; brother-in-law, Alan (Kate) Hill and sister-in-law, Marsha (Paul) Donner; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Mabee; two brothers-in-law, Ralph Johnson and Michael Haller; as well as a brother, Richard Swiderski who died in his youth. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8th in the Lind Funeral Home. Friends will be received from noon until 2 p.m. Monday, for two hours prior to the service in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Kiantone Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, 2318 Stillwater-Frewsburg Rd., Jamestown, NY 14701; or the John and Orpha Blair Hospice Residence, 1 Main Ave., Warren, PA 16365.
