JoAnn Helen Thomas, 74, of 238 South 2nd Street, Coplay, peacefully passed away on June 7, 2021. Born on June 20, 1946, she was the daughter of the late James and Helen Faulkner. She was the loving wife of Joseph, with whom she was married to for over fifty-two years. JoAnn was a loving, caring mother to many children during her forty years of service in the foster care system. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors, including her husband, are sons; Joseph… and his wife Carolyn and their children, Seth and Luke; Jeffry, James, and daughter Ana; and sister, Georgette Butler. She was predeceased by her brother Richard who gave his life for his country in Vietnam. A calling period will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021, from 9:30 A.M. – 10:30 A.M. at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Coplay 327 Chestnut Street, Coplay, PA. 18037 with a service to follow at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
