Darryl A. Hoover, 57, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021, at his home. Born in Lebanon on August 28, 1964, he was the son of the late William Smith and Darlene Hoover. He was raised by his “Mom and “Pop” Nelson W. and the late Shirley Hoover Royer of Bunker Hill. Darryl worked in construction, and he attended Calvary Chapel in Lebanon. In addition to his “Pop” Nelson, he is survived by his children Anna and Leah Hoover both of Palmyra; son Jason Hoover of Florida; brothers Gary L. Royer of Pine Grove and Brian Smith of Jonestown; sisters Belinda Dankanich of Downingtown, Sharon Evans of Tower City, Lisa Smith of Dalmatia, Sheila Slade of Annville and Corinne Richards of Jonestown; several grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 31, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Salem Evangelical Cemetery, Ono. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Darryl A.     • Hi Jason its your aunt Sheila i wanted you to know that Darryl was no longer battling those demons he gave all that to God and was a godly man.He often thought of you and the girls and i know he loved each one of you very much and wanted nothing but the best for all you..I know where he is he is with Jesus and is at peace and happy,but i miss him and i know he wanted to reconnect with all of you,but time ran out and it didn’t happen. Just know he loved you with all his heart.
