Obituary Cynthia Jean Marek, age 65 of Morley, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family and loved ones. Cyndy was born on July 13, 1956 in Ionia, Michigan. She graduated from Ionia High School and was a school bus driver for Cedar Springs Public Schools for several years. Cyndy is survived by her significant other, Sam Nelson; her children, Angie Teachworth, Rick (Amelia Gillespie) Teachworth, Bear Teachworth, and Roger Marek; her grandchildren and one great grandson; her brother, Bruce Pullum; and her brother-in-law, Dan Nelson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Florence Pullum. Visitation for Cyndy will be held on Wednesday December 8, 2021 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Howard City Funeral and Cremation Services, 225 E. Edgerton Street in Howard City. Private burial will take place in Aetna Cemetery in Morley in the Spring of 2022. Memorial contributions may be given in Cyndy’s name to the American Cancer Society.
