Obituary for Chadrick Dewayne James II Our beloved Chadrick ‘Chano’ Dewayne James, II departed this world at the tender young age of 20, in the afternoon on Friday, the 1st of October 2021, in Roswell, NM. He was born the 15th of March 2001, in Vicksburg, MS to Mercedes E Anaya and Chadrick D James, I. He was proudly serving as a dishwasher at Cattle Baron in Roswell, NM. Chano leaves behind his 3 siblings, Anaya E James (Savannah, GA) and Solis S and Jazlyn R Byrd (El Paso, TX), his girlfriend Victoria Bowen (Roswell, NM), his mother and father, grandmother Ruth Watson (Vicksburg, MS), grandfather Billy James (Vicksburg, MS), Tia Jessica S and Uncle J. Ben Christopher (Las Cruces, NM), Tio Alex S Trujillo (Fort Worth, TX), Tia Julia E Trujillo (El Paso, TX), Tia Anita M Thompson (Vicksburg, MS), Aunt Adlean James (Vicksburg, MS), Uncle Tyrone James (Vicksburg, MS), JD James (Dallas, TX), as well as cousins in Vicksburg, MS Lordsburg, NM and El Paso, TX. Chano is preceded in death by Grandfather Billy Don Watson, Grandmother Daisey James, Tio Ruben Trujillo and Grandpa Manuel G Solis. A public viewing will be held from 4pm-8pm, Thursday, the 7th of October in the Getz Funeral Home Chapel in Las Cruces, NM. A memorial service will be held on Friday the 8th of October at 2:30pm, also held in the Getz Funeral Chapel.
