Jack’s Obituary Jack L. McPike, age 68, of Portage passed away Monday December 28 at the Northwest Health Center in Valparaiso. Jack was born May 1, 1952 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Homer and Mamie (Lee) McPike. Jack was a millwright that had retired from Beta Steel. He was an avid Cubs Fan and enjoyed Golfing. Jack is survived by his four sons, Jack (Vicki) McPike of Williamsport, Craig (Christi) McPike of Shellburn, Bradley (Candice) Hunt of Portage, and Nathan (Monica) McPike of Michigan City; one daughter, Misty Nelson of Valparaiso; one sister, Sharon Stroud of Lake Station; twelve grandchildren, Jordan, CJ, Tyler, Zack, Dominique, Brandi, Abby, Cloe, Bella, Joey, Carmen, and Cameron; Two great grandchildren; Wyatt and Baylee; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Donna McPike; his parents; one brother, Everett McPike; and one sister, Vicki King. Visitation will be from 2-7 pm Tuesday January 5, 2021 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, Indiana 46368. **Due to County Covid-19 Restrictions no more than 25 people can be in attendance at any one time.** Private Funeral Services will follow.
