Herring, Jr. 48, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at MUSC in Florence after an extended illness. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Richardson Funeral Home. Use of masks and social distancing will be strongly encouraged. The service will be streamed live on the Richardson Funeral Home (Marion, SC) Facebook page for all those unable to attend. Mr. Herring was born in Dillon, a son of the late Ronald C. Herring and Lynda Hyatt Cook. He was a truck driver. Surviving are his wife, Betty Moore Herring of the home; sons, Justin Herring and Austin Parker of Marion; daughters, Brittany Herring and Haley Parker of Marion; brother Billy Cook (Fog) of Eastover, SC and Spencer Herring of Lugoff, SC; sister, Dawn Herring Wassmer of Patchogue Island, NY; step-father, Billy Cook of Nichols, SC; and five grandchildren.
