Robert’s Obituary Robert L. Peercy was born March 4, 1937 and departed this life Wednesday, November 25, 2020 reaching the age of 83 years. He was the son of the late Patterson (Pat) and Nina (Guffey) Peercy. He is survived by: 3 daughters, Peggy Sue Dufek of Indianapolis, IN, Cheryl Young of Indianapolis, IN and Terri Kilgore of New Palestine, IN; 1 son, Rick Peercy of Indianapolis, IN; 2 sisters, Hope York and Ruth Carroll; 2 brothers, Dan Peercy and John Peercy; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 2 sisters, Patsy Troxell and Joy Hoben; and 1 brother, Bill Peercy. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. PRIVATE graveside services will be held on Monday, November 30, 2020 at the Gap Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor’s Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance. As the number of attendees is limited to 25 people only, a list will be provided to the funeral home by the family. You are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering and observe the social distancing guidelines. No communal food or drinks are allowed at this time.
