Gilbert’s Obituary Gilbert “Gibby” Hibbard, Jr. was born April 18, 1954 in Clay County, Kentucky, the son of the late Gilbert Hibbard Sr. and Nancy Jane Abner Hibbard. He is survived by his two children: Nancy Hibbard of Nicholasville, Kentucky, and Ralph William Hibbard of Lexington, Kentucky; twelve siblings: Dan Hibbard, Clinton Hibbard, Mildred Bowling, Cora Brock, Tom Hibbard, Mary Lee Henson, Jean Collins, Floyd Hibbard, Sophie Collins, Lois Hubbard, Della Carroll, and Mattie Parsons; two grandchildren: Parker and Preston Hibbard; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Shirley Miller Hibbard. Gilbert “Gibby” Hibbard, Jr. departed this life Friday, October 16, 2020 being 66 years, 5 months, and 28 days of age. Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Hibbard Cemetery in Manchester, Kentucky.
