Winnie Lucille White April 26, 1927 – September 17, 2020 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Memorial Donation Lucille Rainbolt White, 93, Elizabethton, went into the arms of Jesus surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 18, 2020. Lucille was born on April 26, 1927, in Butler, Tennessee to Dave and Ethel Clawson Rainbolt. Lucille was a native of Butler, Tennessee, but had lived most of her adult life in Elizabethton. She was a graduate of Hampton High School. She was retired from East Tennessee Undergarment. She was a long time and devoted member of Lynn Valley Baptist Church. She was a member of Women on Mission. Always doing for others. Her devotion was teaching children and youth in Sunday School, Traning Union, Vacation Bible School, Missions, wherever God called her. Making sure they knew about Jesus and his love for them and setting a good example. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie V. White, Her parents: Dave and Ethel Rainbolt, Grandson: James Joshua Estep, Two Sons-in-law: Benny Estep and Earl Honeycutt,Sister: Ruth Williams and Husband Ralph, Brothers: John Rainbolt and Charles (Bud) Rainbolt, Brothers-in-law: Mark Shaw and L.B. Ward. Those left to cherish her memory include: Daughter: Maxine White Estep Honeycutt and Son: David M. White. Her Grandchildren: Jon Mark Estep, Martha (Randy) Jenkins, Dylan White and Jesse (Amber) White. Her Great Grandchildren: Chelsie (Tyler) Castellanos, David Jenkins and Andrew White. Her Sisters: Mary Shaw, Frances Ward, Nancy (Fred) Jenkins, Jane (Ron) Miller, Brenda (Thomas) Penix, Sue (Bart) Smith, and Sister-in-law: Louise Rainbolt. Those who wish to pay their respects and register their presence for Lucille, she will lie in state at Memorial Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The White family will honor Lucille’s life with a Graveside Service on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 2 p.m. in the Butler Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Pastors Dennis Wilson and Richard Smitley. Everyone who wishes to attend is asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m .Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to the Building Fund of the Lynn Valley Baptist Church, 1617 Broad Street, Elizabethton, Tn. 37643. A specail thanks to Jon Mark Estep for his love and devotion in caring for his grandmother during her illness.
