Marlan Ada Looney, 82 of St Ann’s Lane, Waverly, Ohio died 4:01 p.m. Thursday September 17, 2020 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. Marlan was born April 20, 1938 in Unicoi County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Wayne Young, Sr., and Rosa Mae Williams. Marlan was united in marriage to Ernest Sylvester Looney on December 23, 1965 who preceded her in death on April 22, 2012. Surviving are a daughter, Rebecca Keaton of Waverly, Ohio, two sons, Rodney Looney and fiancée Cherie Cory of Waverly, Ohio and Rick Looney and wife Crystal of Peebles, Ohio, three brothers, and three sisters. Eight Grandchildren, Brandon Tackett, Ryan Looney, Amber Looney, Ashley Keaton, Evanna Swepston, Joseph Swepston Abagail Looney, Cassidy Looney, Dominic Looney, Adaila Looney and Zach Whitley, two Great Grandchildren, Barrett Looney and Davina Tackett She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Teresa Lynn Looney, four brothers and one sister. Marlan was a member of the Bethel Church of Christ in Christian Union and was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the Boyer Funeral Home, in Waverly, Ohio with Rev. Larry Moore, officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery, Piketon, Ohio.
